Vocational Service
This area of service represents the opportunity that each Rotarian has to represent the dignity and utility of one's vocation as an opportunity to serve society. Rotarian's promote and foster high ethical standards in business and professions and promote the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations.
Come join us for business visits to Rotarian's place of work, or in and around the community to expand our knowledge about what local businesses are doing, what they are about and how they impact our community.
We use "Vocational moments" ...taking a little time to learn more about our fellow Rotary members, what their careers involve and how they became interested in the path they chose.
We also share career information with our Interact club students at Waiakea and Laupahoehoe high schools to help further their growth and experience as they prepare to enter the workforce.
Please join us for a vocational experience or to share yours with others.
